LOST IN TIME SHAWL

Learn to crochet the beautiful triangular Lost in Time Shawl.  You should know the crochet basics such as chain stitch, single and double crochet, and slip stitch.  This design also uses front post double crochet, back post double crochet, picot and popcorn, also changing color,  which you will learn in class.

Come in early for help in selecting your yarn and supplies. You can use fingering, worsted or cotton yarn. The shawl will be smaller or larger according to the size yarn and hook selected, however you can make the shawl any size you want. You will receive 10% discount on your class supplies.

Supplies:

  • The pattern will be provided

  • Yarn recommendations (you can choose as few or as many colors as you like)

  • Cotton: Ultra Pima - 8 skeins, or 1094 yds.  and a 4mm hook

  • Worsted:  Comfort - 6  balls and a 5mm or 5.5mm hook

  • Fingering:  1094 yds, and a 4mm crochet hook

  • Crochet hook as referenced above. I recommend Prym.

  • Tapestry/yarn needle

  • Scissors

In class we will crochet the first section, Rows 1-15. The remaining pattern is a repeat of rows that you will have learned the stitches for in class. The border is three rows; if you need help with the border when you complete your shawl, come back in and I will help you with the border.

You can finish the shawl with the three tassels or picots along the edge.

Remember, a paid seat is a saved seat.

We look forward to seeing you.
